Description:
Robust epiphytic herb, occasionally recorded as a lithophyte. Plants develop a mostly unbranched stem, which stands out horizontally or somewhat pendent from the host tree. Leaves all along the stem, fleshy, distichous. Inflorescences in the leaf axils on the underside of the stem, c. 5-7-flowered. Flowers white with a greenish-yellow throat, lemon scented. Sepals and petals similar, ovate-elliptic. Lip 3-lobed with rounded side lobes. Spur greenish with a wide mouth, constricted in the middle, the spherical apex often at right angle to the base of the spur.
