Description: |
Terrestrial herb, 25-60 cm tall. Separate sterile shoot only rarely present. Flowering stem with 5-10 sheathing leaves, lanceolate to narrowly ovate, 4.5-8(14) cm long. Inflorescence fairly lax, 15-70-flowered, 8-20 cm long, bracts papery. Flowers mostly facing downwards at c. 45 degrees, pale to deep mauve, often with darker spots; spur erect, broad and conical, 4-6 mm long, laterally flattened; lip 4.5-5.5 mm long, narrowly elliptic. |
