Date of birth: 1927 Date of death: 20 Apr 2007 BiographyBelgian botanist and agronomist from K.U.Leuven, professor of botany (from 1953) and
director (from 1976) of the BG of Belgium (today Meise Botanic Garden - BR). He studied the genus Psychotria and identified many African species, author of 'Les espèces africaines du genre Psychotria L. (Rubiaceae)'. His collections are kept in BR. |
