Location (detailed): Lengwe National Park is located about 65 km southwest of Blantyre near the town of Chikwawa. It currently covers an area of c. 887 km².
The climate is hot and dry, and the altitude very low at c. 100 m asl. It is the home of the Nyala antelope. The park was established in 1970.
