| Notes: | Much less common than the similar Melanitis leda helena (Twilight brown). | ||
| Distribution: | In our region race diversa is known from Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Eastern Zimbabwe and South Africa as far as Durban. Race parmeno is known from northern Zambia and further North into Central and West Africa. | ||
